Making cyborg older isnt bad, like she IS supposed to be a cyborg (even tho her insides are metal bc Jamie doesnt know what a cyborg is ig) but like sexualizing her like that? Giving her bigger breasts than Noodle? Why? Why not have her look exactly the same but older or look exactly the same as Noodle?

The issue isnt that Cyborg is an adult now it’s that the first art of her as an adult is her with her weirdly large breasts out and that Jamie has a history of sexualizing Japanese women and girls.

Really? This is what qualifies as “weirdly large” to you? They’re around the same size as Noodle’s were in Phase 3.

Nope. They’re either the same size or smaller. They probably just look bigger to you because Noodle doesn’t show cleavage.

I wasnt going to reply to this but it actually got me thinking. I always meant to do a side by side but never did.

However, her in the tranz dress is not the first image of her that comes to mind for me. This is:

Where you can see shes pretty flat on top. In the same phase:

Where shes like a cup size bigger.

These are both braless, I never imagine Noodle with a bra on, I forget she’s ever drawn with one. Noodle with a bra is roughly the same size as cyborg without one but it’s interesting how inconsistent this is! I think it is the cleavage that hit me in the face, tbh.

Though her breasts arent as large as I thought upon first impression (I made this post the first time I saw her at Demon Dayz Fest), the point that Jamie has a bad habit of sexualizing Japanese girls and women still stands.

Honestly ya’ll care too much about this. Hewlett is never consistent with his artwork, 2D is meant to be taller than Murdoc but they’re same height in 99.9% of his art. Plus there is such thing as a push-up bra, those things work miracles. From my personal experience they’ve brought me from a c-cup to a double d. So maybe Noodle wears a push-up bra sometimes, maybe she got a boob job idc, or maybe Hewlett just draws what he feels like just as most artist do.

Sexualizing Japanese girls is different than drawing Murdoc tall. Hes consistent with drawing Noodle in clothes that are too old for her.
